Well, Christmas is approaching fast as usual, it seems that the older I get the shorter the years get. I can remember when I was a child, Christmas seemed to take forever, NOW, it seems they are just a few months apart...where does the time go.....I know we are a lot busier as we get older and I like to think that, this is what keeps me YOUNG....LOL ...I can't believe that I am turning 60 next year ...wow...

I have been busy making quilts for family members, American Girl Doll clothes, sewn and knitted, baby clothes for my grand daughters in Australia...and my latest hobby...I am learning to digitize...(for those that don't know what that is, it is turning a picture into an embroidery, or applique.) I try to digitize something every day, or at least work on something that I have in progress.  Sometimes I surprise myself when they turn out just how I wanted them to...LOL.

August has been a very busy month ..I have so many projects started it is not funny...and August has gone ...(Don't know where) ...so much for me trying to update my blog daily...very funny...

Top of the list to finish is a donation quilt for a 16 year old girl who is one of 9 children that lost all their possesions in a fire...Quilts of many Angels has been making sure that each child and the parents all get a new quilt as a surprize when they move into their new house...This is the only donation quilt that I have been able to make this year due to how busy I have been...I did manage to send one to SewFest and some squares as well... Maybe September will find me updating a little more...LOL ..

Kids are back as school in most places so enjoy your time sewing ...stitching...crafting ..whatever it is you enjoy doing give God the Glory that you are able to do it and do it to the best of your ability...God Bless till next time ... Norma

Time to Get Started in keeping this up to date...

I have been working on some photograph collages but some I cant share with you ...as they have my grand children in them ...both my children live in Australia and do not wish me to publish their children's photos on the web...so I will abide by their wishes and not do that ...how ever if you are a close friend and I know you I will certainly email you pics of them and share them that way...This keeps everyone happy..!!

I recently finished a quilt for a friend of mine to give to her son on graduation it was a T-Shirt Quilt and I will post a pic of it when I find out how...right now I am just feeling my way around this...

My Sewfest sister have just returned home from KS where they spent a week of making quilts for the Veterans..this has been an ongoing event in July since 2008... sadly I was not able to attend this year..but I hear that they did well and I will explain about SEW FEST in another blog...for now it is off to bed with me...
